Flio's new Celestial magic skills mean that Wyne's Malicium is under control at last... and as if that wasn't good news enough, Rys is pregnant! However, demon society is built on the notion that the weak must be culled. Rys, who's come to share Flio's vision of a world with a place for the meek and lowly, will need to defend her newborn against all demonkind! Could the child's first cries rally the hearts of the war-torn tribes and lead them to peaceful coexistence?
