Ethics in Engineering

What is ethics in engineering? Engineers develop technology that has a major impact, positive and negative, on people and the environment. This means that engineers must take a stand and make moral judgements. Also, they need to take other stakeholders into consideration - employees, owners, customers and suppliers - who might have conflicting interests.
