Last Night in Sweden

Many of Sweden’s top photographers have contributed to this collection of images of entirely ordinary evenings in Sweden. They depict things that normally never make the front pages – people relaxing and working, everyday events and everyday happiness, family and friends, young and old. The book is divided into seven chapters, one for each day of the week, and contains images from all over Sweden.The book is a response to President Trump’s mysterious “what’s happening last night in Sweden” statement. A record breaking crowdfunding effort raised funding for the project, in part with the aim of presenting copies of the book to Donald Trump, the entire US Congress and all MEPs. With this book, Sweden’s photographers provide a generous and multi-faceted depiction of life in Sweden. The book is also available in Swedish.
