Please Rescue Me, Don't Return Me!: Five Shelter Dogs' Perspectives on Solving Behavioral Problems

Author, Sally Nitz, is a volunteer dog walker and trainer at the Portage County Dog Warden Shelter in Ravenna, Ohio. She relays her training success in solving her five shelter dogs' behavioral problems from her dogs' point-of-view in the hope that people will try to solve their rescue dogs' problems rather than return them.Sally has a BS and an MA in Education and has had multiple dogs and cats since 1992. She volunteers at three facilities with her four therapy dogs. She is a part-time chaplain and the founder and director of the nonprofit Celebrate Life Ministries, Inc.
