Project leadership for individuals and teams

Today, it is difficult to find a workplace without projects. Regardless of what the project aims to produce and regardless of the level in the hierarchy, projects entail collaboration in uncertain situations. Textbooks and research on team dynamics, collaboration or leadership usually see temporary work groups as the exception. This book takes the reverse stance. The uncertainty of the task, the short-lived relationships, the anxiety of not knowing whether your competence and capacity will be enough or appreciated – all key aspects of project work – are in focus here. When first published in 2011, the Swedish-language version of this book received the award for best project management book of the year from Svenskt Projektforum, the Swedish member of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). The book is intended for students of project management, whatever their professional orientation, and to working professionals taking further education.
