Raggedy Andy Stories

There's a new doll in the nursery, and it's Raggedy Ann's fun-loving brother, Andy. The rest of the toys―including Henry, the little Dutch doll, and Uncle Clem―are delighted to have a new friend to join them in their pillow fights, taffy-pulls, and other games. When sticky medicine glues the French doll's eyes shut, it's Andy who figures out the cure. And when Andy's smile vanishes, Santa Claus himself restores the happy-go-lucky rag doll's big grin. This facsimile of the 1920 classic features the charming original color illustrations by author Johnny Gruelle. Generations of young readers and listeners have treasured these heartwarming stories about the secret lives of dolls, and they've also learned valuable lessons about kindness, positive thinking, and the enduring power of friendship.
