Swedish Historical National Accounts 1800-2000

Sweden has a long tradition in the field of historical national accounts. However, the previous series were in need of complements and revisions. In this book new, elaborated, and consistent series for the 19th and 20th centuries are presented. They are the result of comprehensive research projects carried out at the departments of economic history at Lund and Umeå universities. Series are in current as well as constant prices for the production and expenditure sides of the accounts. Accordingly, the new GDP series are given in factor and market prices. The volume series are deflated using double deflation which is new to Swedish historical national accounts.
