YOU WERE INJURED BY A VACCINE, NOW WHAT? Vaccine injuries are very rare but can be devastating. I wrote this book to help introduce those who may be unfamiliar with vaccine injuries to the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program and to explain how it works. For these people, whom the vast majority didn't even know the VICP existed, I hope this book can give you some answers and help you chart a path towards recovery. The VICP is unique. If a vaccine has injured you, you may be entitled to compensation, but to recover that compensation, you must be able to navigate the VICP. The first step in that process is finding the right lawyer to represent you. Very few attorneys regularly practice before the Special Masters who handle these kinds of cases. Most recently I secured a six-figure settlement for a client who suffered Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) due to the influenza vaccine. Representation in the VICP is free, so you should not settle for just any lawyer. You should find a lawyer that you trust has your best interests at heart. Your attorney should take the time to understand every aspect of your injury and its effects. They must advocate for what you deserve-and not settle for anything less.
