Why God Allows Evil

The strongest challenge to Christianity is the problem of evil, especially when trying to reconcile a loving God with: horrors against children the suffering of innocent animals suffering in hell suffering in ignorance of the truth because God spoke to one very small nation, but was silent to the majority of the world presumably condemned without a chance of hearing the gospel. As an atheist, Daniel Parks accepted a challenge to seriously examine the credibility of Christianity. He applied his investigative skills and intellect to study the arguments and evidence for atheism and for Christianity. He expected to affirm his atheism, but one by one, his studies kept pointing to Christianity as true, with the one exception being the problem of evil. None of the Christian explanations completely addressed the problem. But he saw that certain elements of the most promising ones fit coherently into a theodicy that persuasively solves the problem of evil in its entirety.
