This book features images of all the examples of historical animal ornaments listed in The Anatomy of Viking Art. This makes it a great companion to The Anatomy of Viking Art, but it is also a great collection of references by itself. The book covers all the stylistic periods of Viking Age art (c. 800-1100 CE) in images with references to the origin of each item and where to find it now.
